A relaxed and heartfelt lakeside celebration at Elberta Life Saving Station, this wedding was a beautiful reflection of love, intention, and the charm of Northern Michigan’s shoreline.
The morning began peacefully with the bride and her closest friends getting ready at the venue, setting a calm and joyful tone for the day. A beautiful first look on the beach captured an intimate moment between the couple before they exchanged vows with the water as their backdrop.
The reception took place in a tent beside the historic station, where simple and elegant décor allowed the natural surroundings to shine. Small jars filled with baby’s breath created a soft, romantic atmosphere that felt perfectly suited to the lakeside setting.
Living in Colorado, the couple planned their day from afar, and it was a joy helping bring their vision to life with thoughtful touches like table linens and small décor details. Despite windy weather and a few logistical challenges, the day unfolded beautifully, filled with warmth, laughter, and celebration.
Set in a charming small fishing town and surrounded by those who love them most, this kind and thoughtful couple created a day that was both meaningful and unforgettable — a truly special celebration on the water.
