From middle school sweethearts to husband and wife, this waterfront celebration was a heartfelt reflection of a love that grew up together. The day began with the bride, her mother, and bridal party getting ready at Village Suites in Bay Harbor, where excitement and emotion filled the morning air.

With Lake Michigan as their backdrop, the couple exchanged vows during a romantic beach ceremony surrounded by those closest to them. Soft blush and sage green tones carried throughout the design, paired with intentionally simple decor that allowed the natural beauty of the waterfront setting to take center stage.

A personal touch close to the bride’s heart was woven into the reception design through table numbers inspired by different Taylor Swift song and tour eras. Each table featured photos of the couple throughout their years together, creating a nostalgic, storytelling experience for guests as they found their seats.

The celebration continued with a lawn reception beside the water, where music, laughter, and meaningful traditions brought the evening to life. A heartfelt Irish toast delivered by the bride’s father became one of the most memorable moments of the night — a tribute to family, heritage, and a love story years in the making.
